Faucet Installation

GR8 Faucet Script: Manage Faucets

Find a faucet, edit its settings and pause or enable it without changing other faucets in your installation.

These instructions apply to GR8 Faucet Script 70.1.91. Sign into your installation as an administrator, then choose Faucets in the top navigation. The table manages your installation, not the GR8 Community directory. You can have one faucet for each currency supported by your installation’s fixed Microwallet provider.

Add A Currency

  1. Choose Add Faucet above the table. The form opens on the same page.
  2. Choose an unused Currency. This is the only Add field. Existing Draft, Paused and Archived faucets reserve their currencies too; the list excludes them.
  3. The faucet name is derived from your installation name followed by its currency. Its public URL slug is the lowercase currency, such as btc. You do not enter a separate name or slug.
  4. Choose Create Draft once. A repeated submission does not create another faucet.
  5. Find the new Draft in the table. Use Edit to configure its rewards and Microwallet to save its own provider API key. Do not reuse another faucet’s key.
  6. Use Enable only after setup is complete. Readiness checks can refuse publication and explain what is missing.

Creating a Draft does not publish it or authorize payouts. The provider and owner account were selected during installation and cannot be switched here. If no currencies are available, check existing faucets and the saved provider catalog. To refresh it, verify an existing faucet’s Microwallet connection, then use Refresh Currencies beside Currency in Add Faucet. Edit cannot change an assigned currency. There is no separate ten-faucet limit.

Find And Edit A Faucet

  1. Use Search to find the record. Clear the search to see all faucets.
  2. Choose Edit at the end of its row. Edit and Microwallet open the selected faucet’s form without leaving the list. Shortlinks continues to open separately.
  3. Check the faucet name, currency and status before saving. Cancel leaves its settings unchanged; saving returns you to the same collection state.

A Published faucet’s title opens its public page in a separate tab. Use the explicit Edit action for unpublished faucets. The address below the title is its public address, not its administrative address. Once assigned, currency is fixed even for an unfunded, never-published Draft. Edit does not provide an independent faucet name or currency change. Add another available currency instead of repurposing payment history.

Configure Faucet Rewards and Set Up Microwallet Credentials explain the fields and verification steps.

Pause Or Enable One Faucet

  1. At the end of the row, choose Pause for a Published faucet, or Enable for an eligible Draft or Paused faucet.
  2. Read the confirmation and confirm only the faucet you intend to change.
  3. Check the resulting status in the table. If required setup is missing, Enable is refused and the error explains what must be corrected.

Pause affects the selected faucet only. Enabling a Draft requires publication readiness; it is not a way to bypass credential or payout checks. If the record changed while the confirmation was open, close it, refresh the table and review its current state before trying again.

Control The Whole Installation

The Installation: Active button above the table shows the current installation-wide payout mode. Its dialog is separate from the status of each faucet. Setting the installation to Active does not publish Draft faucets, alter rewards or charge visitors a fee.

Understand Payout Control before changing its mode. To bring in an existing faucet, choose Import on an eligible Draft’s row and follow the Import Guide.
