GR8 Faucet Script: Manage User Blocking Rules

Apply targeted ASN, country, IP or username rules and check their effect before expanding a block.

These instructions apply to GR8 Faucet Script 70.1.73. The controls described are in your own installation; this public guide does not grant administrator access.

System → Security → User Blocking & Filtering applies access restrictions across the installation. A country or ASN block can affect many legitimate visitors; retain administrator access while testing.

Add A Targeted Rule

  1. In the entry form, choose Type: ASN, Country, IP or Username. ASN is a network operator’s Autonomous System Number.

  2. In Value, use AS plus digits for ASN; search and select the country by its full name; enter an IPv4/IPv6 address or CIDR range for IP. Username accepts an exact name, a suffix wildcard (*) or an expression between / /; use a narrow, evidence-backed rule.

  3. Choose Add Entry and confirm its Type and Value in the consolidated rules table.

  4. Check the intended access outcome using a separate visitor session. Investigate mistaken blocks before adding further restrictions.

  5. Remove a rule with the provided control when it is no longer justified. Verify that the intended access is restored.

If The Result Is Wrong

Check the rule’s type and exact value, then review other local rules and proxy-provider results. Do not publish visitor identifiers, credentials or session data in support posts. Keep the rule’s purpose and the observed result in private operational records.
