GR8 Faucet Script: Manage Ad Placements

Configure one fixed advertising position, check its public result and understand removal or fallback.

These instructions apply to GR8 Faucet Script 70.1.73. The controls described are in your own installation; this public guide does not grant administrator access.

Content → Ads → Ad Placements manages five fixed public positions. It is shared across the installation. Positions cannot be added or reordered here; their order describes physical locations, not a selection priority.

Choose The Position

  • Top Banner and Bottom Banner are 728 × 90 pixels. Workflow Ad is 300 × 250. Left Rail and Right Rail are 160 × 600.

  • Read Appears On before choosing Edit. Workflow Ad covers the login, CAPTCHA, shortlink, result and idle steps. Cooldown content is managed separately in Pages, not this placement.

  • Configured means a saved creative is Active. Disabled retains saved content without using it. Legacy Fallback uses matching old active content; Local Placeholder has no current creative or applicable fallback.

Save Provider Code Or A Local Banner

  1. Choose Edit on the intended row and read its position, dimensions and current Status. Keep a recoverable copy of existing code or image before replacing it.

  2. Choose Ad Network Code to paste the provider’s exact public HTML or JavaScript snippet. Do not paste a complete HTML document or a private API credential. The editor checks supported markup and inline syntax, but cannot guarantee a remote script’s safety or performance.

  3. Choose Local Banner to upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP with exactly the displayed dimensions and a maximum size of 2 MB. Enter Click Destination URL and a meaningful Image Description, then choose the destination-tab option.

  4. Choose Active or Disabled deliberately, then Save Placement. Disabled preserves the configured creative. Closing without Save does not publish the form’s changes.

  5. Check the save notice and reopen the same placement. Verify the public faucet at desktop and narrow widths in a separate tab; provider code is never previewed or executed in admin.

Restore Or Troubleshoot

Restore Placeholder removes the saved code or local banner after confirmation, including the hosted image; it does not delete the fixed position. Matching active legacy content may still appear instead of a placeholder. Keep your source before removal. A validation error leaves the editor open and the prior row unchanged; correct the named markup, format, dimensions or URL error before retrying. Replacing a stored banner removes its old hosted image after a successful save.
