GR8 Faucet Script: Configure Site Template

These instructions apply to GR8 Faucet Script 70.1.73. The controls described are in your own installation; this public guide does not grant administrator access.

System → Template manages installation-wide site information and the public template. Basic Info and Appearance have separate save actions; switching tabs does not save edits.

Update Basic Info

1. Choose Basic Info. Enter Site Name and, if needed, Site Slogan, Site Description and Site Keywords.

2. Choose Save Basic Info, then check the save notice. Keep the name within 60 characters, slogan within 100 and description within 300.

3. Reload to confirm the saved values, then check the public site in a separate tab. This does not rename a repository, domain or external service registration.

Change Appearance

1. Choose Appearance and record the current Template, Font and colors before replacing them. Existing saved values are the starting point.

2. Choose an installed Template. Theme Presets fills the appearance form with preset values; it is not a publication or installation action.

3. Choose Font or Custom Font Family and adjust the relevant color or styling sections. Body BG determines the displayed light/dark mode. Selecting a font name does not install a font file.

4. Choose Save Appearance. Check the save notice, then inspect public pages in a separate tab for readable text, visible links and usable buttons.

If A Change Is Wrong

Restore your recorded values and save the same tab again. There is no advertised one-click Undo. If Save Failed appears, reload to check the active values before retrying. This form does not install templates, edit application code, change CAPTCHA credentials or publish Help. No external account or key is required.
