Faucet Installation

GR8 Faucet Script: Configure Proxy Detection

Save a provider API key, enable its checks and set the installation-wide detection order.

These instructions apply to GR8 Faucet Script 70.1.93. The controls described are in your own installation; this public guide does not grant administrator access.

System → Security → Proxy Services checks visitor connections across the installation. VPN or proxy rules can block legitimate visitors; choose providers and rules based on your access policy.

Configure A Provider

  1. Click the provider name in the table to open its website. Review its terms, quotas and suitability before enabling it.

  2. Sign into that provider and find its API or Developer settings. Choose Edit in the matching row, enter your API Key and choose Save API Key. Blackbox does not require a key or an Edit action.

  3. Saved in the table and API Key Saved in the editor confirm storage. A blank replacement keeps the key; Show/Hide reveals only the replacement you enter. Reload after a changed-settings warning.

  4. Enable the intended provider in the table. A disabled switch may indicate a missing required key. Saving a key alone does not enable the provider or prove that its service is responding.

  5. Clear Search and the Enabled filter before using Move Up or Move Down before Edit to change installation-wide priority. Ordering is disabled while filters hide neighboring providers. Disabled providers can also be reordered. This is detection order, not shortener Selection Weight.

Recover A Refused Or Unconfirmed Switch

  1. While a switch is saving, wait for its result. The busy switch cannot be submitted again.

  2. Provider Not Changed means the requested change was refused. The switch shows the server-returned state and stays unavailable until you reload.

  3. Update Not Confirmed means the request could not be confirmed. The switch retains its last-confirmed state; that is not proof of the current saved value. Do not submit the same change repeatedly.

  4. Choose Reload Page in that row. This reloads the current page, reads fresh settings and does not automatically replay the update. An ordinary table refresh is not a substitute for this page reload.

  5. Check the provider’s saved state and key status after reload. Only make a new change if it is still needed. If the message returns, keep its wording and ask GR8 Support without sharing the API Key.

Check The Result And Troubleshoot

  1. Check a known ordinary connection and a permitted test VPN connection without submitting a claim. Keep administrator access available.

  2. For an incorrect block, review the provider result and the local blocking rules before expanding restrictions.

  3. For provider errors, check its key, quota and service status using its current documentation. Do not include API keys or visitor identifiers in public support evidence.

The linked ProxyCheck documentation was checked on October 6, 2026. Other provider links in the table identify their websites, not a promise of identical console labels or API capabilities.
