Start the connection from your own GR8 Faucet installation, not from the GR8 Connected faucets list. You need administrator access to that installation and the GR8 account that should own its connection. That GR8 account must have a verified email address; local Faucet administrator access does not grant GR8 staff permissions.
Connect your installation
- In the local Faucet admin, open Dev Tools, choose Updates, then select Connect GR8 Account.
- Sign into the intended GR8 account if asked. If GR8 asks you to verify your email, complete that step and restart the connection from the local admin.
- On Connect GR8 Faucet, check the displayed domain, origin and installation. Choose Approve connection only if you started this request from that named installation. Otherwise choose Cancel.
- After returning to your installation, open Connected faucets in your GR8 account and check that the intended connection is active.
Check directory visibility separately
An active account connection is not automatic approval for a public Faucet List entry. Check the Faucet List separately. If Connected faucets shows Your faucet needs attention, read its reason, correction and reinspection guidance rather than repeatedly reconnecting.
If the connection fails
If the local admin says GR8 connection is unavailable, confirm that the installation has its correct canonical public URL and try again from Connect GR8 Account. Cancel an unexpected installation request. Do not manually paste a connection secret or API key into Discord or a support message; use a redacted description of the failure.
